sAme sAme brings the vibrant energy of Southeast Asian cuisine to life through authentic Thai dishes, prepared with the best local produce and traditional methods, like cooking over hot coals in searing woks. The menu is every-evolving, with seasonal specials and favourites that keep guests returning. The drinks program reflects the same creativity, with a cocktail list focused on local and seasonal ingredients and a carefully curated wine selection that complements the bold flavours of the food.

The Role

sAme sAme is looking for a casual Kitchen Hand to join the team in one of our busiest and most energetic kitchens.

You will play a vital support role in the kitchen, helping to maintain the flow of service through cleanliness, organisation and teamwork. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment. This role will be well suited to someone who has:

• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Willingness to learn and support all areas of kitchen operations
• Experience with cleaning, dishwashing, lifting, and maintaining organised workspaces
• Understanding of food safety, stock rotation, workplace health and safety practices
• Suitable for those on a student visa or seeking casual work
• Food Safety Certificate required
