The Role

We're looking for a skilled and committed Demi Chef to join the team at Golden Avenue!

Working closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team, you'll play a key role in delivering vibrant, bold Middle Eastern dishes with consistency, precision, and care. You'll thrive in a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen, bring a collaborative approach to service, and take pride in producing beautifully executed food while supporting the team through fast-paced services.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens (Demi Chef level or experienced Commis Chef)
• Experience working on the grill and with charcoal cooking techniques highly regarded
• Confidence preparing and plating dishes to a consistently high standard
• Strong technical skills and experience working within structured kitchen systems
• Excellent understanding of mise en place, section organisation, and food safety standards
• The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining great attention to detail
• A collaborative, positive attitude and a genuine passion for working in a high-performing team
• Availability across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
