The Role

Idle is the next chapter in the Agnes Bakery story - a gentle evolution into all-day dining, where the comfort of handmade breads and pastries meets the generosity of a neighbourhood kitchen.
We’re currently looking for a positive and adaptable Baker to join the Idle team in a casual position, supporting our talented chefs and bakers across early morning production and service preparation over the weekend.

This role will suit somebody who:

• Enjoys early morning bakery production and fast-paced service
• Takes pride in producing consistent, high quality baked goods
• Works well independently and within a collaborative team
• Brings a positive, adaptable and easy-going attitude
• Is available to work weekends and early morning shifts commencing from 1am

Skills & Experience

• Experience working within a bakery or similar quality hospitality environment
• Relevant Baking qualifications or demonstrated industry experience
• Positive, adaptable and easy-going personality with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working autonomously during early morning shifts
• Reliable weekend availability
