The drinks program reflects the same creativity, with a cocktail list focused on local and seasonal ingredients and a carefully curated wine selection that complements the bold flavours of the food. 

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join the leadership team at sAme sAme. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will lead daily kitchen operations, maintain exceptional food quality and consistency, and foster a strong, collaborative team culture. This role combines hands-on cooking with leadership responsibilities, ensuring every service reflects our commitment to excellence.

• Experience as a Sous Chef within premium dining environments.
• Experience working in larger kitchen brigades with structured operations and service flows
• Familiarity with Thai cuisine is highly regarded
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, train, and support a team during both prep and service
• Clear communication style and collaborative approach to working with the front of house team
• Excellent standards in food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Good understanding of inventory management, ordering, and maintaining cost control
• A positive and proactive mindset, with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
